Brooklyn Vintage Company, on the corner of Irving Avenue and Himrod Street, is one of the few Brooklyn shops that does furniture and clothing in equal measure. Mid-century furniture and lighting share the floor with racks of vintage clothing, denim, and dresses, plus art, housewares, and vinyl — Brooklyn Magazine singled out the denim, housewares, and dresses — and the shop occasionally hosts live music.
It is one of the best-reviewed vintage stores in Bushwick, with more than a hundred Google reviews, and its hours are generous: noon to 8pm Monday through Friday, 11am to 8pm on Saturday, and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. It sits on the residential, eastern side of the neighborhood, a few blocks from the DeKalb Avenue L.
