521 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
The Grand Street shop is the second location of Dobbin St Vintage Co-Op, the Greenpoint institution on Norman Avenue. It runs on the same co-op model: rather than one buyer's taste, the floor is shared by independent vintage dealers, each bringing their own specialism. The result is a range no single-owner shop can match — clothing across several decades, alongside home goods, furniture, and objects.
That multi-dealer format is the reason to visit both locations rather than treating one as a substitute for the other. The dealers and the stock differ between Greenpoint and Grand Street, so a find in one tells you nothing about what the other is carrying this week.
Hours are noon to 7pm every day. The shop sits in South Williamsburg near the Lorimer Street L and Metropolitan Avenue G, and L Train Vintage's Grand Street store is a few blocks east, making the two an easy pairing.
