The Chelsea Housing Works on West 17th Street is widely considered the organization's best Manhattan location, and for good reason: Chelsea's proximity to the fashion, art, and design industries produces a donation stream of extraordinary quality. Barely-worn designer pieces, vintage fashion from significant eras, quality home goods, and the occasional extraordinary find cycle through the floor with more frequency than at any other Housing Works location. All proceeds fund the organization's HIV/AIDS services and housing programs.
